The Conseil National du Cuir (French National Leather Council) will launch a new advertising campaign in October to promote the use of leather among the general public.

The TV advertisement entitled Le Cuir, Vivez-le (Leather: Live it) is directed by the French actress Charlotte de Turckheim and will illustrate certain elements of life such as emotions, romantic moments and sport. The advert will demonstrate the presence and the beauty of leather in our daily lives.

The advertising campaign will also aim to promote Saint Crespin’s day in France (October 25) ‘Leather Day’.

Parallel to this, the campaign will also be promoted in retail outlets, on scratch cards, and also during professional events.

This campaign requires important financial investments and has benefited from the membership of all professional organisations in the leather sector grouped together within the Conseil National du Cuir.
