Slovenia’s Statistics Office reports that the total value of purchases of hides and skins in Slovenia in August was 10.9% higher than in July. Livestock purchases were 11.1% higher month-on-month in value terms.
It was also reported that 10,432 cattle of a total weight of 2,889 tonnes were slaughtered in Slovenia in August, respectively 1% and 0.4% higher than in the same month in 2005.
