The course was designed to ‘future-proof’ the business with scientific knowledge and technical updates, ensuring any changes in environmental legislation have minimal impact on the Highlands-based firm.
Jessica said: ‘The course backs up the biological and chemical processes behind what we do at SkyeSkyns and brings new ways into how to work more efficiently. It’s important to keep the old crafts alive and our strong links with the University contribute to that, so it was well worth the thirteen hour journey to get to Northampton.
