From the week beginning March 15, DyStar employees were able to enter the plants in order to prepare the start-up of the facilities. According to DyStar, orders for the necessary raw materials have already been placed.

Lanxess, owner of the buildings and facilities used by DyStar in Leverkusen and Brunsbüttel, reached an agreement with DyStar about the future use of the facilities by March 12. A new leasing and service agreement has been agreed for the buildings and facilities in Leverkusen. This contract obligates DyStar to properly decommission the facilities after end of production. The buildings and premises in Brunsbüttel will be sold to DyStar including all obligations for demolition.

Furthermore, DyStar’s bonded warehouse products have been released. So, DyStar will be able to supply products to customers again from mid March.
