JOB DUTIES: Fully responsible for the safety of all the chemical usages in the wet blue
cattle hides process in the company for all hide processing, safety of the work force, and quality of
the ultimate product as sold to ultimate users. Provide technical expertise for processing cattle hides
into wet blue leather. Design and apply formulations of the wet blue leather towards final finished
leather products for individual industries. Maintain domestic and international protocol for chemical
usage acceptable to the industry. Purchase of all chemicals for the tannery and the packing plants and developing new products. Responsible for hides at the packing plants technically for green hides and brine base for product issues. Maintain a knowledge of processing techniques for both domestic and International markets.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Two (2) years prior experience in a process management position
in hides processing industry with similar job duties.
