WLC links-up with Courovisão
22 July 2011The organisers of the World Leather Congress have been given an exhibition space during the forthcoming Courovisão (International Fair of Leather, Chemicals, Components, Equipments and Accessories for Footwear and Manufactured Goods). Courovisão takes place September 27-29 at the Fenac exhibition grounds in Novo Hamburgo, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
During Courovisão, World Leather Congress' staff will provide information about the event, including the speaker program, trips and registrations. The World Leather Congress will take place in Rio de Janeiro at the Hotel Sofitel, November 9, 2011.
Courovisão is an essential event in Brazil for the leather, footwear, accessories and fashion products. The fair features exhibitors manufacturing synthetic materials, finished and semi-processed leathers, textiles, heels, soles, machinery, chemicals, metals, packaging, molding and components.
The World Leather Congress (WLC) is an official event of the International Council of Tanners (ICT) and will be jointly organised by the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB) and Couromoda Trade Fairs. The WLC will follow the World Footwear Congress, an official event of the European Confederation of the Footwear Industry, which will take place on November 7-8 in the same venue.
All the WLC panels and activities have been planned based on current and future predicted leather business issues. They deal with the present situation and what we may expect about the future of leather in the footwear market, automotive industry and for luxury products. Over 30 experts (who all play an important role in the worldwide leather marketing chain from more than 20 countries) will be discussing the challenges and opportunities for the leather industry.
