Strike over at Garden State Tanning

10 June 2003

Industrial action by employees at the US automotive upholstery tanner, Garden State Tanning appears to be resolved. The Williamsport site was not operating normally last week due a strike action by union employees. However, it now appears an agreement has been made between the union and GST management. It has been reported that Union officials have told workers to accept a deal from the employers. GST make leather for a number of automotive manufacturers including BMW, Toyota and Ford.
