Sammying felt from Dollfus & Muller

French felt manufacturers, Dollfus & Muller, have introduced a sammying felt which has a greater water permeability and is easier to clean. The new felt, called Esco, was featured on the company's stand during Tanning Tech. The felt is 70% synthetic and 30% wool and is aimed to be used on sammying machines for all tanners of full chrome or vegetable tanned leather. It may also be used on metal-free leathers. Esco comes in two weights; Esco M75 (75kg per sq m) or Esco M83 (83kg per sq m). The felts are manufactured in France and distributed to customers through 26 international agents.
