Natuzzi, the world leader in leather upholstery, have appointed Ignacio Corral as their new product manager in the UK. Corral joined the team in May and will be operating from the UK head office in Dartford, where he will be responsible for the UK’s product collection. His key role will be to analyse consumer insight to ensure that the brand is correctly positioned for the UK market, and that sales targets are met. Natuzzi said in a release dated June 23.

Corral will be working closely with his colleagues in the UK Marketing team and his counterparts in Italy. He will report directly to Irene Zia, Marketing Manager for the UK, Southern, Adriatic & Eastern (S-A-E) Europe and the Middle East. ‘We are very pleased to welcome Ignacio to the Natuzzi team, his experience is well suited to the role and we are certain that he will put his extensive knowledge to great use’, said Irene Zia. ‘The Product Manager is a crucial position and we will rely on him to provide expert analysis about our customers’ needs and to select the right product mix for our UK audience.’

Studying at Madrid’s Business School (Instituto de Empresa) Corral has an MBA in Business Administration, as well as a degree in Economics and Business. Before joining Natuzzi, Corral worked for Spanish office stationery and furniture company Nova Line for six years. He was sales manager and category manager for the company and based in his native country of Spain.

Natuzzi is Italy’s largest furniture manufacturer and a world leader in leather upholstery.
