Mollisa Staker on show

At Tanning Tech Strojosvit primarily introduced the ST232-Mollisa staking machine with a new system of feeding and control. It has a working width of 3,200mm. An important Portuguese customer producing leathers for the demanding European Community market showed a great interest in this machine. During the exhibition, Strojosvit managed to conclude another five Letters of Intent. These orders were expected to be finalised by the end of last year. Negotiations concerning Strojosvit company representation on the markets in Türkiye, Syria, and Iran were also opened. Moreover, intensive negotiations about deliveries of machines and spare parts to the Russian market continued as well. In May, Strojosvit company obtained a new private owner and started the process of restructuring and recovery of the company. This process has been divided into several phases and will continue until the end of 2002. The aim of this process is to re-establish a competitive and healthy company. The first results, such as closing of new orders as well as technical development of selected tanning machines, prove that this aim is realistic.
