Two years ago they won an export trophy from the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce & Industry for around $28 million worth of exports. They are one of the top 100 companies listed on Stock Exchange. Universal Leather Industries have two units, one based in Karachi and the second based in Lahore. Together they have a total production capacity of two million sq ft per day. Since the dramatic change in the leather trade scenario, Universal have adopted a new policy and have come out with innovative products to cater to the market for top brands.
