Kasur tanneries pollution control project completed

The Kasur Tanneries Pollution Control Project (KTPCP) has been completed at a cost of about Rs500 million (US$7.8 million). The project is one of the largest in Asia. It will not only create a healthy and clean atmosphere for the people of Kasur but will also help prevent diseases spread by the waste and pollution from the tanneries, said Azam Suleman Khan, project managing director.
