ILP promotes leather soles at airports

10 January 2001

International Leather Publicity (ILP) are an international association of leather soles and vegetable extract essence manufacturers for tanneries. Their head office is in London and they promote communication projects and advertising campaigns in favour of using leather soles in footwear. The project of promotion/research on leather soles at Frankfurt airport in 1998 earned great success, so the ILP decided this year to repeat the operation and extended it to three international airports. The stand was in Amsterdam in July and August, Zurich in September and Brussels in October. The promotion aimed at raising the awareness of the Genuine Leather trademark and of the benefits of using the material in footwear.
