ILM Winter Styles March 25-27

16 March 2006

The new bag fashions for Autumn/Winter 2006-07 will be the visual focus at the I.L.M - International Leather Goods Fair - Winter Styles to take place March 25-27 at Messe Offenbach. On the occasion of this seasonal starting event for fashionable leather accessories and bags, about 220 exhibitors from home and abroad display in fully booked halls what the specialised trade actually needs: international lifestyle and fashion brands, young culture- and sports labels, first-class products for travel, school, and business and a variety of the latest city bags, small leathergoods, umbrellas as well as gloves, belts, and other fashion accessories. Just like last year, more than 4,000 trade visitors are expected to attend this fair as representatives of the leathergoods trade, the shoes- and clothing trade as well as other trade branches involved with fashionable leather articles. Messe Offenbach will offer a newly-developped hall A3 especially for the suppliers of young fashion- and sports brands. The basic idea of creating a kind of shopfloor with flowing sales areas has been realised by an overall concept of open stand presentations. By leaving out some dividing walls, a shop-in-shop presentation is achieved that is underligned by unitary lighting systems in the complete hall. Demonstrations in hall A3 cover fashionable bags, shoes, belts and jewelry. By doing so, the ILM follows the aim of expanding the fair programme in terms of fashion and to offer the buyers in Offenbach attractive fashion accessories on top of the core business. Joining the exhibition are Nike, Crumpler, Urban Access, Ogio, Burton, Chiemsee, OWA, s'Oliver, Zippo, Comma, Principe and others with Energy, Danish Daughters Friis and Coccinelle. The latest trends in bag fashion are presented in three themes: Classic Avant-garde, Uniform and Far East Express. Daily fashion shows, lectures on trends, and so-called fashion points dealing with the trends for Autumn/Winter 2006-07 as well as Spring 2007 bring the visitors informational insight in the highlights of the new fashion season.
