Hungarian eight-month production and sales
21 October 2008Hungary's Central Statistical Office reports that the production of leather and leather products in Hungary in the first eight months of this year was 12.2% higher than in the same period in 2007.
Leather and leather products manufacturers' sales in the January to August period were 14.3% higher year-on-year, with an increase in sales of 10.2% on the domestic Hungarian market and 14.9% higher sales on export markets.
