In comparison, industrial output in the Czech Republic in the January to August period this year was 9.9% higher year-on-year. Hungary's Central Statistical Office reports that the production of leather and leather products in Hungary in the first eight months of this year was 36.8% higher than in the same period in 2006. Manufacturers' sales of the same types of commodities in the January to August period were 37% higher year-on-year, with an increase in sales of 1.7% on the domestic Hungarian market and 44.4% higher sales on export markets.&rtreturn;Serbia's Statistical Office reports that the production of leather and leather products in Serbia in the first eight months of this year was 0.5% lower than in the same period in 2006. In comparison, Serbian industrial output in the January to August period was 5.4% higher year-on-year.&rtreturn;
