Croatian leather exports

Croatia's Central Statistics Bureau reports that Croatia exported leather and leather products worth US$124 million in the first eleven months of 2004, a substantial year-on-year increase of 215%. Croatian imports of the same types of commodities were 59.6% higher year-on-year at US$130 million. Croatia also exported raw hides and skins worth US$21 million in the January to November 2004 period, a year-on-year increase of 20%. Croatian imports of these types of commodities were 11% higher year-on-year at US$22 million.
