Corichem: soaking and deliming

Sapol ES7 is a combination of special non-ionic surfactants having excellent wetting, soaking and degreasing properties. It is especially suitable for white and pastel shaded leather with very fine and levelled grain. The recommended amount of use varies between 0.5 % to 2 % for very fatty hides. Corilime F is a specific liming product that can be used for both hair-saving process and hair-burning process. It is used as a levelling agent, promoting the elimination of wrinkles and the area yield (which is estimated at nearly 1.5 - 3.5%). Corilime F improves the opening-up of the hides and reduces excessive lime swelling. The grain of leather treated with Corilime F appears very fine, clean and smooth. Thanks to the elimination or the smoothing of wrinkles, Corilime F avoids belly boarding and related loose grain. Depending on the kind of leather, the amount of Corilime F used can be 0.7 % to 1.2 %. Solecal DM is a liquid deliming agent based on buffered organic acids. It has a gradual deliming effect on pelts leaving very clean and whitish skins. It is especially recommended for deliming leather where very fine grain is required (calf, goat etc). It is used in amounts of 0.8% - 2.5%. Solecal CRM is a superior powder deliming agent with a complexing effect on calcium ions. It has a good deliming and buffering capacity and it can be used on any type of leather. Solecal CRM acts rapidly so goes through the hide section more easily. Thanks to its great masking effect, it protects the grain and enhances chrome fixation in tanning. Recommended amounts for use vary from 1% to 3% according to leather to be delimed and their thickness.
