Comprehensive event programme in ACLE, CIFF and Moda Shanghai

A comprehensive event programme covering topical subjects across the full spectrum of the global shoe and leather industry as well as trends will complement the All China Leather Exhibition (ACLE), China International Footwear Fair (CIFF) and Moda Shanghai exhibitions, September 3-5, 2003, Pudong, Shanghai, China. The programme of eight seminar presentations, which will be held on September 3-4, covers 'Ladies Fashion for Spring/Summer 2004' and 'Colours, Materials and Influences for Autumn/Winter 2004-05'. Peter Mangione, President of Footwear Distributors and Retailers of America will present on the 'US Footwear Market'. Under leather-making technology and manufacture, William Carey and Stephen Chow of Asia Committee of ICHSLTA will discuss 'Essential Suggestions for Hides and Skins Export in order to Reduce Disputes', while Dupont China Holding Co will look at 'New Trends in Leather Protection'. Qingdao TFL Chemicals will give a presentation on their 'White Line' Concept. Ken Nokes, of SATRA, will review 'Leather Assessment and Utilization for Tanners and Shoemakers'. In the marketing category, two speakers from BLC Leather Technology Centre will show 'How Clean Leather-making Technology can help International Sales'. Last but not least, Dr Thomas Pattloch, German Attorney at Law, will cover 'Intellectual Property Rights in China'. All presentations will be conducted in Mandarin or English. Most will have simultaneous translation. There will be an award presentation ceremony of 'Buyers' Choice' Award on September 5, 2003. VIP buyers will vote for the outstanding exhibits in CIFF and Moda Shanghai. The results will be a useful reference for manufacturers in the China market.
