CLIA appoint BLC as official testing organisation

BLC Leather Technology Centre has signed an agreement with China Leather Industries Association (CLIA) to provide testing for restricted substances on leathers exported from China. It is now normal practice for brands to request a test certificate covering a number of restricted substances, the most common being formaldehyde, chromium VI, certain azo dyes, pentachlorophenol (PCP).
