BSG LeatherLink launch management tool

Version 2.0 of LeatherLink is a set of integrated management tools for the global leather industry. It has been developed and supplied by BSG LeatherLink and was officially launched in early September. At the launch, held at BSG LeatherLink's head office at Chennai, India, Maria Selvaraj, ceo of Apma Leathers of Chennai released a CD demonstrating the features of the system. According to BSG LeatherLink, the management system provides an innovative approach to managing global operations. LeatherLink Version 2.0 can be used to manage activities related to manufacturing and marketing of finished leather taking place at different places (located even in different countries) with a single tool. Buyers of finished leather can manage their global and domestic purchase operations in one central location. Future versions of LeatherLink will provide management tools for companies in all sectors of leather/leather products industry such as footwear, garments, leathergoods, machinery, chemicals and retailing.
