Belarus farms may be privatised

In what could be a revolution in Belarus' farm sector, President Alexander Lukashenko has indicated that 15% of the country's agricultural enterprises could be privatised, according to the Belta news agency. Lukashenko told a recent agricultural seminar in Minsk that strong and effective managers should become landowners in order to improve the fortunes of the farm sector.
