Apology to Church

In the August/September edition of Leather International, I wrote an article on an incident that occurred involving a client of Church's, the Northamptonshire shoemaker. From the reactions that were received from Church the article clearly upset the company, for which I am sorry as I had no other intention than to report an incident, and certainly not to create a negative image of Church and/or their products. The article, which I wrote in my usual colourful style, was not meant to give the impression that I am critical of the brand and its values as opposed to a particular stockist. I am sorry if this article has caused any distress to the Church company. Sam Setter
